I love Maternity and sadly it isn't that often that daddy is home to share in the experience. So when he is I really take the opportunity to make it shine. I love the feel of these images.

I always love when I get to capture special moments for close friends. Patience and I are both from Iowa, our husbands are both Iowans too lol. Our husbands are also both stationed at Fort Riley. I think it's pretty safe to say that our friendship was destined to be. Patience is sweet and beautiful and I'm lucky to have her as a friend. I can't wait to meet sweet little Kalley (pronounced like "Cali" not "Kay-Lee" by the way). I'm so glad I got to meet up with her and get these great images while I was back!

I had a blast with these images, my client was amazingly funny, fun, creative, and beautiful inside and out. My ideal kind of client. We collaborated on all of the ideas and some of the images evoke such emotion in me I can't stop looking at them. They tell a story of a family that already loves their little girl more than life itself, and a father who isn't here to experience as much of it because of deployment. Some of the images break my heart, warm me, make me smile and laugh all at the same time. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
