Another one of my favorite couples. Elizabeth is an amazing photographer herself, and an avid animal lover like me. They have been the foster parents of Ranger here for awhile and were both happy and a little saddened about his upcoming adoption to a new forever home and wanted to have some memories of their time with Ranger. How sweet is that?!

This weeks theme was "one object, shot using 5 different perspectives. So of course I made my chunky monkey of a Pug my subject once again :)

Happy Birthday Zombie!

Anyone who follows my blog or fan page on Facebook knows that my chunky pug Zombie is like the mascot for Melisha Blair Photography. We adopted Zombie in 2009, so we have no idea when his actual birthday is, but we celebrate the day we picked him up each year. This year I was in Iowa, and we made all the dogs look like fools in those hats. I think we had more fun with it than the dogs did. But Zombie got his very own steak to himself to make up for the silly hats :)

He's A Mean One... Mr. Grinch!

 

Lol! My poor Zombie really hates Christmas. People think I'm joking when I say that but I really believe it! The eating of bows off of presents under my tree was the first hint, but the psycho puppy freak outs he has every time someone sings "Jingle Bells" was the biggest clue :) I do love the little guy though! Happy Holidays everyone!
